All sell !ITEM: This is a scarce, vintage & original 1940s folio from the Brown & Bigelow Calendar Company, St. Paul, Minnesota titled \"Running Into Six Figures\" and containing six lithograph pin-up prints by Earl Moran, one of America\'s most important pin-up artists. The six illustrations in this portfolio are from his \"Light & Shadow\" period and this complete folio was a premium gift sent to Brown & Bigelow\'s most lucrative accounts; in this instance to Ray-Brooks Machinery Co., Montgomery, Alabama. Each image is more beautiful than the last and Moran adeptly employs a striking display of light and shadows to create an otherworldly beauty in his nude models who appear ethereal and hypnotizing. A rare and exceptional piece of pin-up memorabilia!Folio measures 15\" x 19 1/2\" – Individual prints measure 15\" x 19 1/2\" with image sizes of 11\" x 14 1/2\"CONDITION: Fine condition. The original heavy card-stock portfolio displays some scattered soiling/toning, corner wear, and wear along the spin of the folio. Prints look beautiful with some light corner wear to the heavy card-stock mount and minimal toning/surface wear at the tops of each of the prints.
