This item is a rarevintage Fancy Photo Frame Stand that holds up to 2 photos.It is brand new in the box and has not been used since it was produced by the Peacock Card Co. Kyoto, Japan. I believe the Peacock Card Co. which produced this item is no longer in business after doing some research on the internet. This item is long out of production, and may be more valuable than what I\'m selling it for because I have no experience with collectibles from the orient.But then again; all collectables are only worth what someone elsedoing the collecting is willing to pay it.While the box does show some light wear from being in storage, this beautifulphoto frame is protected by the original rice paper wrapping inside. It\'s in mint un-used condition and will hold 2-4\"x6\" photos or 2-5\"x7\" photos. (some light trimming may be required) The rectangularphoto opening is exactly 4 & 1/4\" inches longX 2 & 3/4\" inches wide while the oval photo opening is the same. So be sure once your photo istrimmed will fit properly insideto highlight the main subject in the picture.
The content of this photo frame is ofAsian origin, and may be thedepictions of Sumo Wrestlers. The inside seems to be like a Gold-Lemay fabric materialwith one rectangular photo slot, and one oval photo slot. The binding is perfect, there are no cracks,scratches, or cuts on the vinyl front or rear cover artwork. The colors are gold, copper, hunter green, blues,and more. My pictures does not do this item justice. You have to hold this quality product in your hands to experience it\'s beauty & quality. I believe it\'s from the late 1950\'s or early 60\'s, the box, and everything else is complete with a protective rice paper wrapping, so please see all of the pictures in the photo gallery before offerding or buying!
