Rare 19thC Staffordshire Art Pottery Trinity College Building / Figure:

This Staffordshire figure is in the form of a building with a clock face, perhaps a chapel and is decorated with colorful coleslaw. The front reads “Trinity College.” It ha a kick up bottom. It dates from the mid to 3rd quarter of the 19th Century and measures approximately 8 + 1/8 inches at it‘s highest point and 8 + 3/8 inches at its widest point. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some wear on the gilt, some peppering, and very minor coleslaw loss. We have not been able to locate anything like this, and believe it is unique and was possibly custom made.
