Rare 2011 Topps Wacky Packages Postcards Lost Metal WIGGLY PACKAGES 1G Card
This is my very last Wiggly Packages Metal Card and it\'s a beautiful 1G Gold card! I sold a few of these metal cards a year ago, but held back this one gold card. I\'ve decided to finally let it go, as it should be proudly displayed by a serious Wacky Packages collector.It measures 2.5\" wide x 3.5\" high and is in beautiful NM/MINT condition.I tried to show the nice antique gold finish in various lighting conditions.
In 2011, I worked with my brother (both sculptors) and one of Topps\' most talented Wacky / GPK artists to create & produce these amazing metal cards for insertion in one of the upcoming Wacky Packages Postcards sets.The lot of bronze, silver and gold metal cards was shipped to Topps in June of 2011, butfor reasons unknown, they were never released rendering the few examples my brother and I were granted very scarce.Very Few Gold 1G cards were created for the set, making this one even more desirable. Again, this is my last metal Wiggly card (of any color), so don\'t let it slip away! The card has nice weight, and features three detailed levels giving the design an amazing, sculptural 3d look! The antique gold plating makes the design work pop!The last photo shows me in the studio in 2011 working on the freshly cast metal cards. This is a fantastic & scarce Wacky Packages card to add to your collection.
