Hi again ............ NOTE the free hand sketches on the back ...... they are wonderful and very rare!!...... lotsa pictures .... see them all

this is special ....... i have an original drawing from 1949 ..... the original strip run the week of march 27 , 1949 ...... note the marks on the left ...... it has been proofed and approved by several people .......

in the right hand margin is the shop number ..... 574 ..... also the dedication to a friend or a fan by frank king ........ to Nickolas B. Collider ..... then his name ....... king

he also signed it .... king bythe word alley ......

note the logo for .... GASOLINE ALLEY ...... was literally cut from another paper and pasted on the front of this comic .......

double windowed to show off the 5 characters on the back ....... i do not know if they are others from this strip or not ...... maybe just random doodles from kings head ....... perhaps caricatures of people they both knew

the art on the back makes this rarer than most of these old sheets of newspaper comic book art ........ in comics this would be the golden age ........ i do not quite remember the strip myself ......

that not withstanding, they made me pay a pretty price to bring this one to .......... all original and authentic ...... from a recent estate sale .......

as far as shipping goes , that is just what we will charge you to ship the item ..... no hidden extras , no packing or materials fee ......... usually the post office and sometimes ups ......and sometimes the shipping calculator is way off the mark ............., it simply depends on where you live ...... items going overseas naturally cost more to ship than those that stay in the states ..... a toy or a tool .... something for the bathroom , or a children\'s book , whatever ..... we are always willing to send it slower and save you money ...... always glad to combine purchases as well ......
