The most popular and sought after neckties among collectors today are ties designed by the famous Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dali in the 1940\'s. In response to street artists making a living painting men\'s ties just after World War II, tie manufacturers decided to jump on the bandwagon, and hired the likes of Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso to create wonderful designs they could then market to the public. This tie is of the original \"Architectural Parade\" design and bears the artist\'s signature printed near the tip. This tie is the prefect present for any dad on Father\'s Day. The tie is maroon,ecru, and brown in color and is printed with Dali\'s signature surrealist art work. Produced by Pilgrim Cravats from rayon with drape stitch construction. Excellent. It\'s very rare to find this tie at all especially in this condition. Nearly no signs of wear. No stains or discoloration. The Pilgrim Cravats tag is coming up on the upper left side. Not significant and could easily be tacked back down. If you would like me to do that I would be happy to. On the inside of the back tail of the tie there are 2 marks of where there were staples at one time (see pictures for examples). To be clear they are only on the inside \"flaps\" and does not effect the ties appearance whatsoever. Still has its original drape stitch construction paper tag. This tie is such a find!
