AbrahamLINCOLN PLAQUE, N.D. (1909?). 10¼“ x 7½”. Cast Bronze. Costanzo Luini, Sc. Uniface. About Uncirculated with tiny scattered spots. Obverse: Profile of Lincoln to the right. Thereverse has a suspension loop affixed to the back for hanging.

Abeautiful cast with sharp details! This scarce plaque has past sales rangingfrom $400-$800. Some plaques are signed in the right field: C.LUINI/ SCULPTOR,this one is not. Next to Victor David Brenner and Jules Edouard Roine’s Lincolnportraits, I believe this to be one of the finest! A truly representativecollection of Lincolnia would not be complete without an example of this finepiece!
