This stunningly antique vintage chain mail purse is gorgeous! With beautifully designed scroll work design on metal bar at purse closure. Along the purse bottom, lovely dangling piece of artistic metal designs enhance the purse design.
Matching adorable coin purse attached to purse interior (see photos)
No markings were found regarding if metal purity. The purse metal itself needs a good cleaning - elaborate scroll work is easily visible through age wear. Closure is tight and holds perfectly.
This exquisite piece of history was owned by my Great-Great Aunt Lela and has been lovingly stored.

Along the metal fixtures of this piece, I can clearly see silver peeking through. I am leaving the restoration and cleaning to the buyer though, as I have little experience in such matters.

The condition of the chain mail Purse is MINT. No holes or damage visible.
The condition of the attached Coin Purse is MINT; however; it was originally held to the purse w/ two chains, unfortunately, only one chain is currently attached. I am not sure if this is fixable ... will leave to buyer to determine. (see photos)
All workmanship is perfect. Purse handle is secure.
