Rare Unqiue Engraved Silver Argent Medallion Pendant After Greuze La Laitiere A very rare engraving marked with initials Dutch importer.

Jean Baptiste Greuze (born August 21, 1725, Tournus, \"died March 21, 1805, Paris), French painter, draftsman.

I know Greuze was the painter of the original portrait, this great medallion is engraved by French silversmith name unknown. Dutch importerJ.vd Wiel

It is indicated on the front, down with the old Dutch sword 835 purity silver for what was just in this period , Further JB Greutze La Laitiere.

The medallion measures 2 in. By 1.8 in-17.5 inches silver chain
