Rare antique Gorham Mfg Co. sterling silver check cutter features a beautiful reticulated scroll pattern with leaf-and-scroll and floral engraving on one side, and a ruler calibrated to 8-inches on the other. Marked with Gorham\'s anchor, G and lion company mark, \"Sterling,\" the number \"236\" and a rooster (1890) date mark and in excellent antique condition with very light surface abrasions from normal use, measures approximately 9 1/2 x 2-inches and weighs 91.9 grams.
