Vintage Antique Letterpress Gothic Lettering Metal & Wood Printer\'s Block Pledge of AllegianceFound in a box of World War II era printing blocks, this piece features the Pledge of Allegiance in ornate Gothic-style letters. There seems to be (besides the number \"3\" imprinted on two sides) the initials \"I.P.F.U.\" imprinted along with some primitive decoration on one side of the wood block. Other similar blocks have \"Maurice Joyce Engraving Co. Washington, D.C.\" stamped on them so it seems likely, or at least possible, that this piece was also manufactured by Maurice Joyce. Measures approximately 4\" x 2 1/2\" x 7/8\". In very good condition, considering it is most likely 70+ years old. Please ask if you have any questions.
