An absolutely exquisite Silver Filigree Basket with it\'s original cover and plate
An 18th Century filigree silver Ottoman twin handled basket on tray.
With floral and gilded detailing.
Weight 405 gms .
Height 17 cm . 24cm diameter.
Would have been crafted probably in the Ottoman area, for a high ranking noble.
It may have been used for dates and fruitThe workmanship is beautifully crafted.Circa mid 18th Century
There is a small hole to the lid as shown in the photographs.
A number of the Gold filigree decorations to the foot of the basket have been lost.
