Item: Rijks Music Award Medal

Note: I have tried very hard to find out any furtherinformation about this Medal Award and/or about “Rijks Music” but havelearned very little. From what I gather,it is an annual Music Award that is from Holland. Holland’sNational Museum is called the “RijksMuseum”. The Late Amy Winehouse was once a winner of the Rijks Music Master Award. I encourage all interested in doing somepersonal research on this item as well.Maybe you will have better luck than me.This medal was found in a Saxophone Case with the Saxophone which I willbe listing soon. In regards to age, I can\'t say with certainty exactly what year this one was given out. But, the Saxophone/Case this medal was found in dates to before WW2 so I am assuming this medal is at least that old. The Ribbon this Medal has attached is surely very old.

Description: For sale is a Metal Award Medal that features the profile ofwhat appears to be a former Dutch “Master”. This medal reads as follows: “RIJKS MUSIK MAISTERVANDERBREEG”. I cannot find amere mention of “Vanderbreeg”,however…..there is a Musician named “Vanderberg”who had once won this award in Holland.It could be a coincidence possibly.This circular medal measures 2 ½” across and weighs 4 oz. I do not know the composition of this itemin regards of what metal was used. Aneducated guess is Copper from the color/weight. Attached to this Medal is a Vintage lookingblue/orange striped ribbon. I am sure myphotos will best further describe this item.

Condition: On a scale of 1 – 10 (Ten being MINT/Newin Package), I can confidently grade this item’s condition to be a solid 9. The medal itselfappers completely flawless. Nocracks/chips. Only the ribbon showssigns of age. My photos are an accuratedepiction of this item’s TRUECondition.

Shipping: I am completely against profiting onshipping. 90% of allitems will be shipped in 48hrs or less (usually the next day actually) unlessthe item is paid for on a Saturday. ThePost Office is closed on Sunday so shipping will begin again on Monday. No international shipping unless done through’s “GlobalShipping Program”.

Returns: Returns are accepted if the item isnot as described or something happens to the item during shipment. Returns due to negligence on my part willhave shipping refunded and return shipping paid for as well. I think that is only fair. Don’t you?
