Hi, Sellingthis absolutely stunning and rare Bronze chryselephantinefigure of a charming girl holding a ball,imaginativelytitled \'Ball Girl\' !. This is an original and authentic piece hand made by Josef Lorenzl hand worked to the highest standard and signed R Lor, which is a known Lorenzl signature. Lorenzl is probably one of the best and well known for this type of art deco figure. She stands on the original stepped onyx base. The bronze is in amazing condition and has a wonderful patina and has No damage what so ever. The wonderfully carved head has the usual hairlines these pieces have but not damaged in anyway and is the original head. There is no doubt what so ever she is by Lorenzl and signed as such.Lorenzl Wikipedia page for more measures 16cms in height including base and the base is 6.8cms in width and obviously as bronze is very heavy for its size.This is an absolutemust for anycollection anddisplays really really well.
