Rare and precious vintage bone cigarette holder in original case, by Kendall and Co. of Paris. Kendall specialized in exquisite objets d’art, like its neighbor on Rue de la Paix, Cartier. Beautiful sleek Deco form, circa 1925, free of cracks or chips and with some light scattered spotting (it looks like it needs some polishing, but I have left it intact in its original state). Felt lined dark green case, with the company’s name stamped in gold, has a brass enclosure and looks to be made of crocodile, perhaps. Measures 11” in length. Amazing and certifiably rare item. From an estate sale on Lake Champlain.
