DESCRIPTION: One antique coin silver swing handled covered bowl with winged Griffin feet. Very rare form. We are attributing this to Gorham. Last pic shows a \"30\" and \"Coin\". In between the words under high magnification is 3 worn marks. The middle mark is an anchor. I do believe the mark and form are from Gorham. This dates around 1860. This dates pre Civil war era. Circa 1860. Heavy coin silver piece. Great form and style. Ornate swing handle. Correct tight fitting lid. 3 ornate detailed winged Griffin feet. Gold wash interior and interior of lid. Nicer than pictured. Around 150 years old. Very good condition for age. No dings, dents, tears, or repairs. Monogrammed. Some tarnish. Light wear to gold washed interior. Upon close inspection you may notice some light wear and very minor light scratches from normal use and age (typical for pieces of this age) Beautiful early American coin silver bowl in a quite rare form. Guaranteed 900/1000 coin silver. This measures about 6\" in diameter, 7 1/4\" tall (to top of swing handle) at extremes. Weight about 552 grams (weighed on Postal scale). US buyers only on this item.
