Description:Rare David Auld burled wood carved pitcher, made in Haiti around the 1970s. The holloware items like pitchers by Auld are much harder to come across, as they require a lot more labor to produce. You probably will not see another one like this. Original foil sticker on bottom reading \"Hand crafted in Haiti by Auld\".
Condition: In good vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Sticker has wear on bottom, which also has light scuffing. There are 2-3 very slight dings to the finish on the rim, but not too noticeable - see the 5th and 6th photos. Someone had used this pitcher as a pen container, and there are some ink marks to the interior bottom - see the last photo. We did try to remove some of the ink, and were somewhat successful. Believe that more would come off.Measurements: Measures about 4 1/2\" tallest, spout to handle is DO NOT OFFER LOCAL PICKUP, unless specifically stated above. No exceptions.
