This is a rare and deluxe--superb large loving cup by Royal Albert and made in 1953 for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and has on the front her young portrait. They did these loving cups in a series for Edward VIII, George VI and our Queen and in various colour ways like Flowered, Cobalt Blue, Green etcbut this one is rare in a Ruby Red colour with a design in thick gold and all trimmed in gold. it really is a superb piece. It is approx 4 inches high and the length from end of one handle to end of the other handle is approx 7 inches, so a medium to large loving cup---in good condition--to be picky a few little wear white specs on the red..
