For Sale: Fi 2A3 Stereo Amplifier made by Don Garber. Cool custom-built single ended triode (SET) tube amp in excellent condition - with tubes included.

Here\'s a rare and special amp you don\'t see everyday.... a 2A3 amp made by master builder Don Garber, with the openness and extended air of the audiophile favorite 2a3 tube. This unit is the original 2A3 stereo amp and not the later mono amps or the X amp. Well built, with clean point-to-point wiring layout. Due to Mr. Garber\'s low key business practices, not too much information is available on the web about this model, but searching on don garber 2A3 amplifier and similar searches will bring up some good info on the man and his amplifiers.

This amplifier is in plug-and -play condition .

Great sounding amp but requires high-efficiency speakers. YOU MUST HAVE SENSITIVE SPEAKERS. This SET amp only puts out watts in the low single digits but it will make efficient speakers sing.

Built with top quality parts ( ceramics sockets, AEON capacitors , this is the best and more costly version with MAGNEQUEST output transformer ) ,The cost new of this amplifier was $3895 20 year ago !!!

Cosmetic condition is excellent (See pictures) . NOTE: this model has no bottom plate or tube cage, so due care must be excercised.
