Extremely Rare Turn of the Century Frontier Locomotive Railroad RED HIGHBALL Hanging Signal. These type of Railroad Signals were suspended from a wire and raised high in the air to let the conductor know it was safe to pass. This unit is shown as it was discovered. The Highball is made of soldered tin and measures 32\" Tall by 21\" in diameter. The Highball appears all original with aged paint and dirt residue to the bottom, probably from when it was hung low. This is a rare opportunity to add something this scarce to a collection, I could not find any others that have sold during my research.
