Hi againCurrently cleaning out a lifetime New England family estate. This is a beautiful Japanese Satsuma vase. It is unsignedAs you can see,,I pictured the base. It is just under 11 inch and just under 14 inch with stand. The stand is as impressive as the vase.It has a full figured gilt dragon wrapped all around. Highly detailed and sharply done. Even the vase is textured on surface at dragons feetQuite remarkable work. The rim has a wonderful enameled Moriage border I tried to capture. The vase has a perched bird looking downAt a butterfly. Hopefully the pictures translate well. You will not find many of these satsuma vases with such a detailed raised dragon wrappedAround 360 degrees. As I said almost 14 inches tall on stand. Nothing but good old antiques from this home.
