We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique Kutani period bowlfrom the 19th century with a thousand faces and butterflies.

This beautiful porcelain bowl shows stunning detail and design. Each individual person is hand painted withgorgeous detailed butterflies on the rim.The center of the bowl shows an intricate medallion with red and goldgilt decoration. The same design is onthe outside of the bowl with scrolling decorative trees around the base. The bottom is signed with a signature (seephotos). This is a spectacular and rare bowlmeasuring 8.25” tall and just under 3” in height. The condition is very good with no chips,cracks or restoration. There is somewear at places as shown in the pictures.Please view all pictures as they are part of the description. Beautiful rare early example that will begreat in any home décor or collection.
