Offered is this exceptional example of Harris Strong\'s tile work from my personal collection. It is a completely abstract and very brilliant high fired ceramic tile in an unusual fruitwood shadow box type frame.
The tile itself measures 12\" x 12\" and within the striking fruitwood frame, 13\" x 13\". The frame is 1 3/16\" thick. The framed tile extends 1 1/2\" from the wall due to the support on the rear of the piece.
The condition is very good. There are no issues or damages to the tile or to the frame. There are glue areas on the back of the frame support from the original fabrication. The tile has some glaze skips to be expected from this loose design subject.
The wall tile weighs 6 lbs unpacked.
