Thisis a rareHummel child/boy statue holding a basket ofyellow/orange & mauve fruit with green & mauvefruitbetween his legs. Beautiful detail in the eyes and lips of this child. Slight crazing but in good condition.Statue is 3-1/2\" tall. On the bottom of the statue it is marked: the crown mark with a conjoined \"WG\", \"Germany\" in black, stamped\"A.F 9 G\", below the crown mark there is a \"stamped \"W\". There is also a black \"z\". This trade mark was one ofthe first used. Dates from1935 until 1949. These are referred to as the Crown Marks and are Trademark 1 or TMK-1. The letters \"WG\" below the crown stand for William Goebel, the founder of the Goebel company.
