Rare and Esquisite Chinese Tongzhi Period Porcelain Bowl.

Iron Red handpainted Seal mark to base.

Beautifully hand decorated in a famille rose palette, the outer depicting Butterflies and Bats amongst Flowers and Pumpkins.
The interior with a central medallion depicting the Peaches of Longevity.

Dating to around c1870.

Measuring 7cm(h) and 17.2cm(w).

Condition

Very good overall, no major cracks or serious damage although I believe it has had a few minor nibbles ground down on the rim.
Some surface/age wear but the enamels are bright with minimal rubbing.

Displays very well and would make a fantastic addition to someones collection.
