KamensteinStainless & Brass Tea KettleBeautiful slanted stainless body with a chrome-like shine.
This is the predecessor to the famous Rocket design patented in 1989.
Brass lid topped with molded black plastic triangular handle.
Angled black plastic handle features bands of brass and stainless.
Designed by Paul and Jane Ancona for Kamenstein (Ancona\'s work has been a part of the \"Architecture & Design\" installation at the Museum of Modern Art, NYC)
Approximate Measurements 8\" high
12\" from the handle to the spout 9\" circumference on the baseWeighs a little over two pounds.
Condition: Very good to excellent - noscratches or dents, still nice and shiny. The bottom does not lay straight on a counter, but it was used on a gas top, not noticeably dented though. Cap needs to be tugged to take off. Some slight calcification. Little bits of rust spots along screws. This could use a good cleaning to bring it to her true glory which I did not attempt.
This piece would look fabulous in any kitchen, modern or traditional to add a mid-century flare.
