Presented is a very rare tea or coffee pot with original stand and burner. The piece is definitely German and is made of .875 purity solid silver. According to the hallmarks, it was made in the city of Liegnitz or Posen. The \"crossed keys\" marks are very similar. Dates back to late 17th century to early 18th. Maker is IHL. \"14 Loth\" means .875 purity solid silver. The pot is marked underneath, the stand is also marked. The pot is made of a simple, yet very elegant design. Hand chased flower bands on top & bottom of the body. Foliate chased pattern on lid. Inside is gold-washed. Solid wood handle and lid finial. The burner is made for a double wick. Pot with stand measures 10 1/4\" tall. Pot measures 6 3/4\" tall x 10\" long x 3 3/4\" wide. The total silver weight is 971 grams. Each piece is in superb condition, pot few light dings on body, consistent age wear for a 300+ year old item!
