Most likely a Polish officer's example dating from around late 1700s to early 1800s era, wearing a lightly curved unfullered blade which exhibits heavy patina throughout and areas of fine pitting. Brass furniture with typical langet style guard, front one with struck regiment numbers, leather wrapped and wired grip finished with a lion head pommel. All solid and intact on this early Hussar saber.
