Rare massive solid ornate brass plumb bob tool with a steel pointed end. This plumb bob has a section which is hexagon shaped. The fine knurled top unscrews to fit the line or cord. It is quite heavy, weighing 820g, so if the plumb bob is going to be used it will need a strong cord. The brass has gone a little dark in places. Its in excellent condition including the screw threads. A very tactile piece and beautifully engineered. There are no age or makers marks. See close photos.
