Vintage, authentic, original coin-silver and turquoise Navajo bridle/headstall. I have seen, bought and sold a few of these, and this one is in nearly pristine condition, by comparison. Practically museum quality. Made by a Master Navajo Silversmith, it is marked: BC | 76 (see photos).Very heavy, amazing craftsmanship, probably never used. These pieces are very hard to find in an original, complete and unused condition.The measurement of the silver center piece is 5 1/4\" long by 1 1/4\" wide, and 2 1/4\" at the widest part. The L shaped pieces are 4\" by 2 1/2\" and 1 1/4\" wide. The conchos 3\" high by 3\" wide. The front concho centerpiece measures 2\" tall by 2\" wide. The pieces on the ends measure approximately 4 1/2\" and 4\" by 1\" wide. The pieces flanking the centerpiece measure 1 1/4\" wide x 2\" long.The weight is approx. 1 pound 12.7 ounces. This is a wonderful piece of Navajo history and craftsmanship, it would be a valuable addition to any museum or private collection.
