Antique \"Ivory Lamberton Sterling\" restaurant china cup and small plate featuring an ornate brown and black border design with a cobalt blue Star Of David design on each. The decaled border as well as the Star are fired under the glaze. The cup is in excellent condition with no after market damage. There is a nick on the rim that occurred during the manufacturing process, and is under the glaze. The 5 3/4\" plate has some normal surface wear, no chips, but has 2 hairline cracks that extend from the edge toward the center . One is 2\" long and the other is 1 1/2\" long. These are opposite each other, and not terribly noticeable. I have tried to photo them, please see last 2 pics. Very interesting and rare pieces! Even though the plate is not technically a cup saucer, it serves well as a substitute.
