These are a superb pair of very heavy silver bastingspoons made by the greatest English silversmith of the 19th Century.
As one would expect, these Regency period spoons are inone of the premier flatware patterns - fiddle, thread & shell. Thedecoration is crisp throughout and the spoons benefit from having nopersonalised engravings.
The hallmarks to the reverse sides are part worn, but thePS mark is legible in both cases. The bowls have their original thick tips dueto the heavy gauge used during manufacture.
Also known as stuffing, gravy or long handled serving spoons, these are a trulyfabulous pair of spoons!
