This is a fantastic pair of Stuart Devlin candlesticks in sterling silver. He is an Australian gold and silversmith born in 1931 and 86 yearsof age.
My research is limited to what is available through links. The sales slip from an antique shop in 1995 mistakenly gave their date of creation as 1918 so I am assuming the date letter through them to be off.
The identical pair I found gives the year 1972.
These are in very good condition with light scratches from handling and storage. They are needing an intense polishing to restore their luster.
They stand 9.5\" in height and weigh over 260 grams.
