I had listed this naval hat as not knowing what period it was from until I heard from theexperts and consignor that this is a post civil war eraitem soldon Mosby sales. Thenaval hat ismade of a brown leather which has astaranda black original ribbon. It has the original blue silk andunkown maker\'s mark. Thesize is around 11 1/4 inches dia.
