Baird The last one of these to come to market sold for in excess of $1200 (including buyer\'s premium) in a recent FJP sale (I believe it was the November 2011 sale). Baird mustered in with Company C and mustered out with his company, so he saw all the service of his company unless he was absent, sick.
I haven\'t had the opportunity to investigate the monthly returns for the regiment to verify his presence at each engagement Baird, James F.
Enlisted 4/9/1898 in Co. C 10th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Mustered out with Company 8/22/1899 at ___ as a Private Baird, applied for and received a Philippine Congressional Medal, the location of which is unknown to the seller.
