Beautiful Bone China Lidded Biscuit Barrel \"made specially\" by Royal Doulton in their highly acclaimed Dutch Harlem Seriesware, for McVitie & Price.

McVitie & Price was the original Scottish biscuit maker, established in 1830 in Edinburgh.

The Dutch Harlem Seriesware, designed by Charles Noke, features traditionally dressed Dutch ladies, gentlemen and children, on the cobblestone seawall, with windmill and high rigged craft in the background.

The lidded biscuit barrel is in very good vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Backstamp reads \"Made Specially for McVitie & Price, Edinburgh & London / Royal Doulton / England / Copyright\" Thistles adorn the backstamp.

The biscuit barrel measures 7.5\"/19cms to the top of the lid handle and 5.5\"/14cms in diameter.
