You are looking at very raremid to late1800\'s iron moldPictorial Jurgen Peters pictorial case gin. It is listed in the #1 case gin website in the world at www.gin-bottles.com.This bottle is not pictured or has not been seen before with these markings of 1/2 on one side panel. This is the first time that I know of that this gin has ever been shown. Most of them had no numbers markedon the lower side panel or marked 1/1. It stands only 8-3/8 inches and the shoulderandbase width is only 2-7/8 inches. This rare gin was found on a shipwreck in the South China Sea off of the Paracel Islands. It is very well known that in those daysPirates and Merchant ships traveling those water ways many were lost to pirate attacks and storms.One side panel has the rising sun with sun rays protruding from it , a shield and the letters JP. The other has the embossing Jurgen peters Schiedam with a Key.It also still have some of the coral on it that grew on it while sitting on the ocean floor. The photos clearly show the gins condition. I have looked at this gin with a strong light under the bottle and cannot find any chips, cracks or dings. It still has the dirt inside of it and some shells from when the divers found it. The photos clearly show its condition. This has never been cleaned since it was found many years ago. The base also hasan odd shape to it and it lists to one side a little. Kind of like bulging. As with any sea washed case gins you will have outside scratching and internal staining from being in the ocean for over 120+ years. Shipping charges are only an estimate for the lower 48 USA States.
