On offer for sale, is this wonderful silver and rockcrystal pendant, dating to the 16th - 17th century AD. Thecabachon central crystal, is mounted within a silver filigreeframe. The top suspension loop is missing, though it has a solidgold wire repair. Originally this pendant may have had pearls,hanging from the side suspension loops. The pendant is formed inthe shape of a flask, similar crystal flasks were used to holdrelics or perfume. The pendant is sold as excavated and wouldbenifit from cleaning and further research.
