This vintage cast iron mechanical bank features a baby frog kicking coins into its mommy\'s mouth. The coin is placed on the baby\'s stomach, a lever makes mom\'s mouth open and baby\'s left leg kicks it into her mouth. It works great and is fun to watch! There are no markings but the previous owner bought it circa 1960. EXCELLENT condition; paint looks great; the coin stopper is missing from the bottom. This bank is an early vintage reproduction of the rare Two Frogs bank that was originally produced by the eminent J & E Stevens Co. in Cromwell CT. The first version of this bank was patented in August 8th, 1882.
