Up for your consideration is this very rare and very handsome vintage Howard Miller wall clock. This clock holds the same construction as notable clocks made by Arthur Umanoff who worked for George Nelson and Associates. We see a spun aluminum case, matte black face and spun aluminum hands. The movement and face are held in place by 5 arched aluminum tabs which each have 2 teeth. The movement is held in a clear case stamped Japan which is mounted to masonite. Identical to those created by Nelson. Through our research we have found that nearly 150 designs exist that were created by Nelson for Howard Miller. Many of these designs are undocumented. We have searched near and far and have found no other clock exactly like this. The model number is 622 740. The clock itself is very clean. We see some very minor tarnishing on the exterior alumnium case. We see two very faint lines on the face of this clock. These are only noticeable when inspected with a magnifying glass or loop. We see the original glass is in tact with no cracks or chips. The movement works and keeps time with some minor oxidation on the metal battery terminals.This clock measures approximately 12.75 inches in diameter and is 2.5 inches deep.Please message us with any questions - see our response, our items are always packed well and returns are never a hassle.
