For your consideration: A vintage 1970\'s \"The Coleco Collection\" - 10 minature replicas of the Official NHL trophies complete with stand.
These intricate plastic trophies were distributed from 1972-74 by Coleco Industries ( Eagle Toys Hockey ) as an accessory for their NHL Table Top Hockey Games. The Stanley Cup Trophy was also included with some games as a bonus. Some sets came with a plastic rectangular transparent cover, some did not. The stands were either grey or black, and are 18\" long. This set does not include the plastic cover.
There are 1o trophies in the set: The Stanley Cup, The Hart Trohpy, The Art Ross Trohpy, The Calder Trophy, The James Norris Trophy, The Lady Byng Trophy, The Vezina Trophy, The Clarence S. Campbell Bowl, The Prince of Wales Trophy, The Conn Smythe Trophy.
Overall the set is in very good condition. One peg on the stand to hold the Conn Smythe Trophy was snapped off by accident, but does not affect the appearance of the display. Also, two name plates are replicas made at a jewellery store. Hard to tell the difference at a glance.
Not a mint condition set, but very nice and still rare and collectible! Hard to find.
