Up for sale is a vintage Husky HD-1 ratchet. This ratchet is an early Husky production example. It bears the \"Husky Wrench Co.\" name and the Milwaukee Husky location which places it between Husky\'s founding in 1924 and their 1929 move to Kenosha. It is safe to say that this ratchet is around 90 years old.
It is in great condition given its age and use. The surface rust has been removed, and the ratcheting mechanism is free and functions as it should. It was originally part of a heavy duty set of 13/16\" drive tools and had a ratchet plug that was switched from side to side in order to reverse directions. It is an impressive 20 inches long and weighs 4.5 lbs. Please look over the photos for condition details.
It is an interesting piece of history for the Husky collector or anyone who likes old tools. Whether hanging on the wall or being used as a large 13/16\" ratcheting wrench, it is sure to be a conversation piece.
