Hello and thank you for observing this cuckoo clock.

Here is a German Black forest one day Musical Cuckoo Clock. It has a waterwheel that will turn during the operation of the music.

This is a Schneider cuckoo clock.

Schneider is my favorite of the German cuckoo clock companies.

Anton Schneider began producing cuckoo clocks in 1848 in his farmhouse in Schonach. The Schneider family business is now in the 6th generation and has been producing high value cuckoo clocks at its current location since 1952.

Sitting around a long table is an Oompahband with individual instruments. Around the corner a German couple is enjoying the sweet music.

On the hour and half an hour this cuckoo clock will play one of two happy and lively songs.

Trink Bruderlein, which translates to drink brother.

This fits the Oompah band players all sitting with their instruments and their mugs on the table.

The second song is Hofbrauhaus, which is a German Beer hall.

This can be seen on the video shown below to see the clock in action and hear the music.

I have taken out the movement and music box and cleaned and oiled them and also cleaned all of the hardware. I also installed new bellow tops.

The measurements are 11 inches tall, 11 inches wide and 6 3/4 inches depth.Not counting the pendulum. .

It has three 320 gram weights, which will need to be drawn up daily.

I pack my clocks well using new cardboard boxes,and new bubble wrap plastic. I also insure every package and include instructions for setting up and operation of the cuckoo clock.

My interest in Cuckoo clocks began 30 years ago when I was stationed inGermany. I was amazed by the artistic woodcarving skills I witnessed while they brought the clocks into existence.
