This sale is for a 50\'s Lin-Ren handbag made in the USA. It is marked and patented inside the metal rim near the hinge side. The closure works well and there are no holes in the patent. My Mom has had this for a very long time. The interior is clean and it even will hold a cell phone. Theentire inner lid is a mirror. It probably held a compact or vanity item at one time but my Mom says she has never had anything but the bag itself. There is a little glue on the bottom. Many years ago it had beenglued again. This is vintage and has been used so it is in as is condition. The barrel shape and red patent are both harder to find than many other styles. It measures about 5\" tall and the diameter is about 4 and 3/8th\" (not including the handle). The handle swivels. This company made quality pieces. Let me know if you have any questions.
