This is so cool! :) It\'s a \'Frankonia\' miniature tin sewing machine that runs on 2 D type batteries. It\'s in a permanent pop up case just like the old black Singer cabinet styles. The case is a little rough and needs to be handled carefully and a wire leading to one of the batteries has come loose. Just stick it thru the hole and it works great but it\'d be better if it were soldered. The machine itself is in perfect condition and the black on bright red litho is spotless. It even has a needle in it! It can also be moved manually and the turn wheel is plastic. The carrying case is 7-1/2" long, 6-1/4" wide and 4-1/2" tall. The machine is 6-3/4" long, 3-1/2" wide and 4-1/4" tall. The pedal is 4-1\'2" long, 3" wide, 1-1/2" tall and holds 2 D batteries.All the hinges and lock are in great condition and work properly. I\'m not positive when this was made but my guess would be the early 1950\'s. What a great little collectors item that is actually usable!
