A rare vintage cushion picture frame. It\'s divided to accommodate four 1/6 plate Daguerreotypes ~ Ambrotypes ~ Tintypes. Have placed some 1/6 plate images and parts for illustration.
Frame appears to be made of walnut. Its perimeter is probably walnut veneer applied on what appears to be poplar.
Measures 9 1/2\" x 10 1/2\"
Great shape - normal wear and some small areas of chipped veneer.
