Up for your consideration is a very unique South American Vase. It measures about six and one-half inches tall and its top diameter is about two inches. I can\'t find any markings or signature. Overall, it is in very good condition but it does have some scratches on its sides from being placed in a box with other items. It appears to depict an alligator or lizard with human-like teeth--with the exception of a large fang on the front of its mouth.It looks like two round drawings (one in its mouth area and one by its nose perhaps of a sun or moon or both). Also there is a strange character in front of the animal (looks like a backward E). It is painted in many colors (polychrome) and rare. Inside it does have round circular ridges.
