You are offerding on a Rare Vintage Ward, Lock & Co. Wonder Book-A Picture Annual For Boys And Girls. Copyright 1906. This is a rare School Prize Book. On the 3rd page there are two pictures of a man & woman(Mr. & Mrs. Godfrey Baring\")with \"Best Wishes\" from them dated Xmas 1905. On the next page is a Title Page with a hand written \"Awarded To Arthur Morris Godshill School\". In my research, the only Godshill School I could find is on the Isle of Wright, just off the Coast of England in the English Channel. This book is a nice heavy book. It still has much of its gold gilt along the edges of the pages. There are several minor breaks in the spline but these do not effect this book. Still a nice and tight book. It does have some shelf wear, corners are dinged up, but still a beautiful book with BEAUTIFUL coloured platesand perfect for your collection!!!
