Hand crafted in England, this cane features a round ball handle, which is stamped \'English Pewter\', with a raised relief donkey on the top showing great detail even down to the hairs of the donkey. There is a raised belt around the circumference of the handle with the words stamped \'THE PARTY OF THE PEOPLE\' with a diamond symbol stamped between each of the words.Overall length 35\". Diameter of pewter handle 1 3/4\". Black lacquered hardwood shaft measures 7/8\" at the handle ending in a 1\" brass and steel ferrule.In all my years of collecting canes, I have not come across any other of this unique style of Cooper cane.
