This is one of the rarer m17 ww1 german helmets, the trade mark is a drawn bell or rattle,then an L and it is a size 64, which it appears is the onlysize they made, this was made by R. LINDENBERG, A.G. REMSCHEID ,HASTEN. The low skirt on the helmet is what it was known for. The inter steel band is intact, and one of the two chinstrap attachments is still intact, there is a tiny amount of graycamestill is intact.
